Get to Know Me
Hey, I’m Kelly Mac and I’ve been where you are. I’ve experienced the frustration of trying to create quality music and been flatlined in my creative expression. I’ve been lost when trying to find my sound as a producer and had a lack of clarity when wanting to improve my songs and tracks. I’ve felt the misalignment of working side jobs where I was building someone else’s dream instead of building my own. Plus I’ve felt the overwhelm of standing out in the music industry and cutting through “the noise".
Now with over 12 years in the music industry as a music producer, composer, creative director and music supervisor, I’ve seen a lot. I’ve had my music licensed to the biggest brands imaginable, produced alongside Grammy winning producers and artists, helped develop the sound of numerous emerging artists, scored national commercial spots including Superbowl spots, served as music supervisor for several networks and award winning films, and composed and executive produced on movies that ran on the big screen all over the world.. It took me years to hone in on my production skills and build a sustainable career in music, and I want to offer my mentorship program as a way to dramatically cut that time down for you.
My mission is to help pop, hiphop, and r&b artists (just like you) refine their music, and ultimately amplify their uniqueness, so they can make an impact and build a long term career where they can truly thrive. I honestly believe this degree of success is attainable for any independent artist, music producer, or composer. All it takes is a little guidance to help you identify the blind spots so you can close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
